New York, New York
Now that I have a Gallery in Newport, RI, I have been painting  many images based on water, as well as fog and mist.  However, my heart returned to the city, New York City that is. So, I followed my heart for a few weeks and painted New York in all of its quirky glory. I painted the traffic, the night, the isolation within the chaos, but most of all I painted the energy. 

The Newport Mist Series
Newport, RI is an island of many moods and visual spectacles.  This past summer, I focused on painting the fog, or the mist as I have described it.  Some of the paintings show touches of that milky light that sneaks through the clouds and some are heavy with mystery. 

The Anthony Tomaselli Studio at The Providence Art Club is Anthony's main studio as well as his primary Providence exhibition space.
