DESCRIPTION
Located on Historic Federal Hill, Gallery Z is a place where both visitors and residents can stop to explore creative thought and discussion by experiencing quality original artwork from local, national and international artists. Celebrating its 7th year, Gallery Z offers an intimate setting and dedicated staff to provide a range of services to its clientele. In addition to third Thursday’s Gallery Night, on the last Thursday of each month, Gallery Z holds a Food, Art & Wine event from 5:30- 8:00pm. This event represents a marriage of the best local restaurants Providence has to offer and a variety of world class wine selections.

Founded in January 2001 by Providence-based photographer Berge Ara Zobian, Gallery Z is a unique and important fixture of the arts community in Providence. Hosting regular exhibitions and opening receptions of original fine art by local, national, and international artists, Gallery Z is dedicated to presenting meaningful and highly collectible forms of artistic expression that engage a diverse clientèle, supporting artists by offering an intimate setting in which to share their creations.

Located on the west side of Providence in the historic Federal Hill district, Gallery Z is a forerunner in the revitalization of that area, spearheading efforts to connect the public with the growing arts community. Gallery Z is a member of Gallery Night Providence, The Providence Warwick Convention Visitors Bureau, and The Federal Hill Commerce Association.

In keeping with Zobian's cultural background, The Gallery Z private collection features original fine art by Armenian, European, and American artists from the early 20th century to the present, as well as an eclectic selection of art from emerging and established local and regional artists.
