a rotating basis in the State Capitol Complex, with artwork

or working in the community. Sometimes open very late when
working on big projects.
The NAZO LAB is home to the international
performance group BIG NAZO and a working open studio and gallery
in which larger than life sized Puppet Creatures are constructed
and brought to life.

event in the space) The RISD gallery, located on the second
floor, is home to a sample of the contemporary art collection
of the hotel’s original owner, Stanley Weiss. The space
features this permanent collection, as well as installations
from featured Rhode Island artists during the Gallery Night
spring season.

Studio Hop celebrates the talent of over 40 Rhode Island artists
as well as artists from around the country and globe. Our primary
focus is fine art, and fine handcrafts, as well as vintage and
antique jewelry and furniture.
November 19 CELEBRITY TOURS:Unless
otherwise indicated, Celebrity Guided Tour starts 5:30 pm at Regency
Plaza. These Tours offer the public a chance to mix and mingle with
people who care deeply about art. Guides run the gamut from the curators and
academics who shape opinions about art to the artists whose life's work is giving
form to their passion.
